Although it's been years since I have been back to Davidson, NC, I shall NEVER forget the trip there as a new baby in Christ to visit my Mother in law, who was transferred to Davidson from Anderson to receive caregiving of her siblings due to all of us working. Unc Lawrence wanted to make sure I was being TAUGHT the WORD of GOD. We spent several hours going through scripture and prayer. He discovered I lacked understanding on how to receive the HOLY SPIRIT with evidence of speaking in tongues. As he placed hands on my forehead and prayed for me, I woke up several minutes later refreshed & renewed in my spirit and mind!! This experience was my 1st & ON L Y time being "slain in the SPIRIT "... Thank you Uncle Lawrence...I shall NEVER forget ...we LOVE YOU Aunt Ethel & Family

What a precious work our Lord did in and thru Lawrence, my dear friend, brother and precious anointed man of God & minister to me and to all he came in contact with - to God is the glory. Indeed he finished his race, he is home in glory yet his loving touch and impact certainly continues with me and us. Until i see him again, i will miss him greatly, yet am honored to continue to walk into so many blessings of which he so passionately prayed for (and with) me - again, to God is the glory! He is home!!
