Lawrence “Larry” James Talbott, 80, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Country Club Rehabilitation Center, in Mount Vernon.
Larry was born May 4, 1945, in Mount Vernon, OH to Glendon and Treva {Heffelfinger} Talbott.
Larry graduated from St Vincent’s High School in Mount Vernon in 1958. He went to work for Pittsburgh Plate Glass in Mount Vernon for some time. Later he worked in construction remodeling homes and for Mount Vernon Waste. He loved to hunt with his dog, fish, take long bike rides, and run long distance.
Larry will be deeply missed by his loving life partner and caregiver Kathy Lester; children Kevin (Christine) Talbott and Carrie (Mark) Frazier, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and brother David (Jan) Talbott.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents as well as his canine companion Katie.
Burial will be at Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon, OH. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
