Mr. Lawrence Eugene Miller, 78, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 13, 1946 to Lawrence Earl Miller and June Miller. Lawrence was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lewisville. He loved and cherished his family so dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Geoffrey Alan Osteen and James Wade Griffin; brothers, John and Jack; and sisters, Joy, Doris, and Barbara. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Patricia Miller; children, Catherine (Jimmy) Calloway, Cynthia (Donald) Hart, and George (Karen) Osteen; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren and one due to arrive in November.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. A memorial service will follow in the Gentry Family Chapel with full military honors presented by Yadkin VFW Post 10346 and the Navy Funeral Honor Guard. Gentry Family Funeral Service of East Bend is serving the Miller family.
