Lawrence Scott Obituary
He was born June 27, 1949, in Spencer, the son of Jeff and Marilyn (Potter) Scott. He grew up and received his education in Spencer. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam. Following his discharge from the Navy, he lived in California for a time before returning to his home state of Iowa. He was united in marriage to Rhonda Smith in 1976. The couple made their home in Gilmore City. One of Larry's favorite pastimes was fishing, he was also a talented artist and writer of poetry.
He is survived by his daughter Angel Scott of Nevada and his siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Rhonda. Larry was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
No formal services are planned. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. Please remember Larry in your own special way. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
