Dr. Lawrence Alan Whaley M.D.

Dr. Lawrence Alan "Alan" Whaley, M.D., lovingly known as Alan, passed away peacefully at his home in Crowley, Texas, on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the age of 61. Alan was born on June 5, 1964, in Altus, Oklahoma, to William Blaine Whaley and Billie Joyce (Ticer) Whaley. He married his beloved wife, Marsha Franklin, on August 2, 1985. Alan earned his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston, his residency at Western Reserve Care System in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and devoted his career to caring for others through his work at Grace Medical and in the field of allergy medicine.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on February 14th at Christ Culture Church, 225 NW Tarrant Ave, Burleson, TX 76028. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. on February 7, 2026, at Wood Cemetery in Jack County, Texas.

Alan is preceded in death by his children, Till Whaley and Neah Whaley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Marsha Whaley; children, Tycer Whaley, Andy Whaley and wife Cara, Cody Whaley, Clay Whaley, Rylan Whaley, Juliya Whaley, Elyza Simmons, and Sayer Whaley; six grandchildren; sister, Susan Whaley Peer; brothers, Dr. Lance Whaley, Ph.D., and David Whaley: along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Alan will be remembered for his kind heart, devotion to family, and lifelong dedication to

helping others. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched through his compassion,
