Lawrence Williams Obituary
At the age of 89, Lawrence departed this life on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Born in Pavo, Georgia, he was a graduate of Trenton Central High School. He was a resident of Trenton, New Jersey for many years. Lawrence was formerly a self-employed Barber.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by his wife Betty Elizabeth Williams; his son Lawrence "Larry Love" Williams Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter Deborah Williams; two grand-children Kevin and Shawn Williams; two great grandchildren Jaelah and Lynden Williams.
He loved animals, especially cats. He fed all the stray cats and dogs in the area. His special friend was Big Boy a cat, whom he sheltered from all weather conditions in his car. They would sit together every day communing with one another. Big Boy always brought stray cats and dogs home when feeding time came.
Funeral service will be 12pm Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
