Layton Randell Moss

Funeral services for Layton Randell Moss, 27, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Heights Church with Reverend Hayley House Shotts officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Hamilton, Chris Knapp, Jr., Tucker Nolan, A. J. Marshall, Tanner Galvin and Nick Woodall. Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Thompson, Cody Hicks, J.D. Schmidt, John Searcy, Will House, Blake Armstrong, Josh Hodges, Kason George, Tyler Crowe and Jacob Martin.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 16, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Layton Moss passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 16, 1994, the son of Stacey Jean (Laney) and Randell Wayne Moss. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd Moss, Gene Laney, and Beverly Laney.
Layton worked for Danny Bogart Construction and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his father, Dr. Randy Moss of Cleburne; mother, Stacey Moss and spouse, Steve Kowalski, of Burleson; grandmother, Jean Winnett Moss, of Cleburne; sister, Shelby Moss Knapp and husband, Chris Knapp, Jr. of Rio Vista; uncle, Gary Moss and wife, Emily of Fort Worth, aunt, Sherri Hamilton and husband, Kyle Grawunder and children, Maci Hamilton and Lexus Grawunder, all of Granbury; aunt, Cindy Laney; cousins, Chelsea Moss and son Kai, Tyler and wife, Skye Hamilton and daughter Emberlynn; Amber, Brendan, and Corey Banks; niece, Joplin Knapp; nephews, Trace, Judson, and Jaxson Knapp; his beloved dog, Steel; and many other family members and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Layton's honor may be made to the Cleburne Animal Shelter or the church of your choice.
