Leann Amato

Leann Amato, age 49 of Delaware died unexpectedly Thursday, January 18, 2024 at home.
She was born on January 10, 1975 in Columbus and was a 1993 graduate of Delaware Hayes High School and Delaware JVS clerical program. Leann worked in the data entry field and lived a simple life. Always happy go lucky, she enjoyed a passion for animals, especially her American Bull Dogs, Jim, Boss, and Max.
She was kind hearted and fun loving, she was considered a shopaholic. She took pleasure in shopping in local thrift stores, looking for treasures. She was a fan of Mickey Mouse and loved to sing to music. Leann possessed a big heart, one who was generous and always willing to help those in need. She will be remembered for her loud voice, funny personality, and caring ways.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother Elaine Amato of Delaware, twin brother Bobby (Carey) Amato, nephew Cole Amato all of Mt Vernon, aunts and uncles: Greg Amato, Tom (Susi) Amato, Joseph (Crissy) Amato, cousins, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Carmel and Marialyce Amato, Nick and Dolly Popovich, niece Erica Amato, uncle John Amato, cousins Amy and Carly Amato.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr at W. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015 where services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Donnie Akers officiating. Graveside services will take place 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery.
