LeAnn Allred Redford, loving wife, mother, Mimi, friend, and woman of God lived seventy-two joyful years. Born on the 23rd of December 1952 in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of Darrel and Lou Allred. She was raised principally in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she graduated from Skyline High School in 1971. From an early age, LeAnn excelled in her studies, and throughout her life she was an inquisitive learner and voracious reader.
She met the man who would become the love of her life, JAC, in seventh grade French class. After years of deepening friendship, they were engaged during their first year of college. LeAnn earned an associates degree in Childhood Education at University of Utah while JAC did mission work in Italy, and the two married in September 1974. They welcomed their first child, Jessica, in 1975.
The Redfords moved to California in 1976, and were soon blessed with two more children, Jerusha in 1976 and Jonathan in 1979. Despite devoting seemingly endless love and energy to these three little handfuls, she worked together with her husband in the film and TV industry as music copyist, assistant orchestrator, and studio producer.
LeAnn and JAC worked tirelessly to ensure their children had access to the best education possible. When she and JAC were blessed with a late addition to their family, Ian, in 1986, she opted to homeschool him for several years.
LeAnn bravely battled numerous health conditions for forty-six years, but it was brilliance, beauty, vivacity, and a fabulous sense of humor that defined her life… not her suffering. She nurtured decades-long friendships, hosted countless lively events, and gave generously of her time, love and resources. She drank deeply from the well of life's beauty, savoring travel, art, literature, poetry, food… and most of all music.
Her love for God radiated into the lives of everyone around her, including her sons and daughter-in-law - Darren, Jeramy, and Lizzy - as well as their six grandchildren, Alex, Jasmine, Timothy, William, Caden and Miriam.
Throughout LeAnn's 51 years of marriage to JAC, their powerful connection impressed all who knew them. She was his muse, advisor, confidante, and best friend… in all that time, they never failed to find resonance in shared conversation, laughter, or appreciation of the world.
The Redfords moved to Pennsylvania in 2019, where LeAnn reveled in the closeness to her youngest grandchildren, as well as the changing of the seasons she had so missed in California. As part of the Hopewell community, she was grateful for the prayer and support of their friends here.
LeAnn passed into the presence of Jesus on October 24th, 2025.
