Michael and Sally, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Leanne. This news was shared with me Friday afternoon. My mind is flooded with so many wonderful memories. The best ones being at the beach together in Panama City. I last saw Leanne (and Michael) in the parking lot of Cock of the Walk about four years ago. My heart aches with yours, but I know that Leanne has been set free from all that was afflicting her mind and body. She is rejoicing with Jesus! I´m praying for the peace and comfort that can only come from Him to fill your hearts and to carry you through this season. Love and miss you.

You will all be in prayers in this difficult time. I loved Leanne very much and have cherished memories of her. I think of her every year at Christmas when I hang an ornament she gave me dated 1980. She will be missed by many. Lovely Lady.

She was one of my favorite teachers. One day after I graduated and was orienting as a graduate nurse, I was especially down, I came home and found a note from Mrs Busby, it lifted me up and helped me get through. She was a warm wonderful person. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for you at this difficult time.

What can I say about Leanne? She helped change my life by talking me into becoming a family nurse practitioner at VUSN. And then, she left me! She was a wonderful mentor and friend and she and Mr. Mike were so good to me and my son, Hunter. My heart breaks for Michael and the rest of the family. If there ever was a perfect couple, you all were it. Much love and I will miss her so very much.

Leanne was my Vanderbilt classmate and my Dean at Cumberland University. She was a tireless advocate for nurses and for her faculty at Cumberland. She leaves a lasting legacy for hundreds/thousands of Cumberland, Vanderbilt and Lipscomb nurses. She was kind and caring.
