Leanne Harris

Leanne Harris passed away peacefully at her home in Denton, Texas, on January 18, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on November 18, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, Leanne was the daughter of Leland and Roxanna Sample, both of whom have predeceased her.

Leanne's life was marked by warmth, love, and dedication to her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Glenn Harris, alongside their three children: Amanda, Angela and John plus their daughter in law, Lyndsay. Leanne took great pride in her role as a mother, mother in law, and grandmother, and she leaves behind a legacy enriched by her grandchildren: Lyla, Autumn, Madelyn, and Hudson.In addition to her immediate family, Leanne is survived by her sister, Linda McCarley, and her brother-in-law, David McCarley. She also leaves behind her nephews, Jeff and Bryan McCarley, who fondly remember her as a caring and supportive figure in their lives.

Leanne's memory will be honored at a memorial service on February 9, 2026, at Valley Creek Church in Denton, Texas. The service will begin at 3:00 PM and will conclude at 5:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Leanne's remarkable life and the joyful moments she shared with those she loved.

As we reflect on the life of Leanne Harris, we remember her for her strong faith in Christ, her passion for health and nutrition and her love to serve others. She will be deeply missed, yet her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the memories created.
