Lee Ann Bowers, age 61, passed away August 8, 2025. Lee Ann was born to Chester Lee Bowers and Maxine Bowers on April 18, 1964, in Lebanon, TN. She graduated from Gallatin High School in 1982. Lee Ann enjoyed Girl Scouts and liked playing soft ball. She worked at Hoeganaes for a while. The job was very dangerous, and her dad and I wanted her to quit. After a few accidents and the passing of her dad, she did quit. She attended ITT and received every degree offered. Lee Ann went to work for Cracker Barrel travelling all over all states where she was installing or repairing computers.
When we lived in California we attended Berean Baptist Church. As a lot of us have done she drifted away; Praise the Lord, she came back. About 10 years ago she was involved in several car pile-up. She spent some time in Vanderbilt. Lee Ann hasn’t been the same since the accident and she hasn’t wanted anything to do with computers.
Lee Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents. Sidney T. & Lou Ola Davenport and James W. and Ruby Bowers, and her father Chester Lee Bowers.
Lee Ann is survived by mother, Maxine Bowers, sister, Lorie Wolfe, brother, William T. Bowers, niece, Cassandra (Jeff) Stephens, nephews, William Connor (Abby) Bowers, Curtis E. Wolfe and Sidney T. Bowers, great nephews, Aydin M. Stephens and Brody Jayce Stephens and partner, Mary Kaye Gaus for 28 years.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12th from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Dr. Travis Fleming officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens with Jeff Stephens, Aydin Stephens, Brody Stephens, Connor Bowers, Sidney Bowers and Curtis Wolfe serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, August 11th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, August 12th from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.
