Lee Damron Obituary

Lee F. Damron September 7, 1950 - April 14, 2025 Lee Fletcher Damron passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on September 7, 1950, in Jacksboro, Texas, to Winfred Lehnoir (W.L.) Damron and Norma Faye (Pender) Damron.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Bible Baptist Church in Jacksboro, TX.

Lee married the love of his life, Vesta May Fenter, on June 15, 1973, at the Church of Christ in Jacksboro, Texas. He was a member of the Highland Terrace Church in Greenville, Texas. Lee also proudly served in the United States Army. Lee will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Lee is preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Melissa May (Damron) Jenkins; grandson, Noah Fletcher Blackwell; parents, W.L. and Norma Damron; In-laws, Donald Ray and Earlene Fenter.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Vesta Damron of Greenville, Texas; children, Misty Dawn Dyer and husband Rodney, Roseanna Lee Ringo and husband Kenneth; son-in-law, Ryan Jenkins; sisters, Brenda Hinkley and husband John, Kay Maples, and Pamela Reandeau and husband Ernest; grandchildren, Michael Partick Lutz (Sophia), Matthew Jason Lutz, Jr (Nikala), Marissa Faye Lutz-Slemmons, Nathaniel Lee Damron, Calvin Alexander Blackwell, Gregory Norman Blackwell, Jr., LeAnna Nicole Blackwell, Brionna Nicole Jenkins, Aiden Dean Jenkins, and Connor David Jenkins; great grandchildren, Roman Jason Lutz, Emberlynn Elizabeth Lutz, Lincoln Andrew Lee Lutz, and Evelynn Iris Damron, Nolan Wayne Deaton, Easton Gunter Deaton, Riley Ann Deaton, Chloe Enya Dennis; and including Sarah Deaton (Mark), Rob Toon (Karen), Christopher Dennis (Jamie). Plus, so many others embraced as grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as other extended family members and friends.
