Lee Doyle Jr.

Memorial services for Mr. Lee Doyle, Jr. will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Westport Friendship Baptist Church, Pitkin. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Doyle, 58, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 19, 2023, in his residence.
Lee loved his job, his family, and his friends with his whole heart. He had a big loving smile, and even larger heart. No matter where you were he was always ready with a huge hug whenever he saw you. Modest in life, but rich in love and kindness, he never met a stranger and was quick to make a new friend. "Oh! How I missed you!" were some of his favorite words. He loved being an uncle and loved all of "his babies" more than they realized.
For twenty-three years, Lee gave so much of himself to Walmart; his coworkers will definitely miss him. He loved his work, never complained, and lived a quiet simple life. He enjoyed making memories with so many along the way. He spent many hours in his kitchen whipping up new recipes, and loved sharing his dishes with his Facebook pals, keeping everyone guessing what he would come up with next. He was an excellent cook, a wonderful friend, and a bright spark to everyone's day.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee L. and Carrie Marie Doyle; one sister, Gayle Neal; and two brothers, Faron Doyle and Rickey L. Doyle.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two brothers, Robby Doyle, and wife Belinda, of Glenmora, and Edward Lee "Joe" Doyle, and wife Sharon, of Pitkin; two sisters, Pamela Odom of Pitkin, and Rayetta Coker, and husband Emmitt, of Pitkin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
