Kevin Hebert Obituary
Mr. Hebert, 54, of Elmer, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.
Kevin was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and playing pool, and was an active pool league player in Alexandria, Louisiana. Kevin worked as a lineman for thirty-six years, spending his last nineteen years with Cleco. He loved hosting friends and family at his home and enjoyed cooking for those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Sarah Davis Hebert; his paternal grandparents, Owen and Elaine Hebert; and his maternal grandparents, Lester "Bud" and Celestine Davis.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of thirty-two years, Sara Jean Hebert; one son, Cole Bryant Hebert (fiancé, Madison); his father, Roger Lynn Hebert (Brenda); one brother, Roger Trent Hebert; one sister, Sabrina Lynn Hebert Norsworthy; one stepsister, Veronica Lynn West Akins; and his nieces and nephews, Logan Norsworthy, Haelyn Norsworthy, Tinlee Hebert, Justin Skeeles, Justin Day, Lane Golemon, Alexis Higgins, Blaine Clark, Evan Clark, Kensley Clark, Jaylen Golemon, Cameron Golemon, and Jocee Golemon.
A time of visitation will be held at Camp Eight United Pentecostal Church, Otis, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Cole Hebert, Rodney Hebert, Billy Afemon, Wayne Pilgrim, Brent Montgomery, and Trey Bechtel. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Hebert, DeWayne Golemon, Don King, and Michael Davis.
