Lee Everett

Lee Everett, 60, a resident of Blounts Creek, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina.

Born on November 28, 1965, Lee lived a life devoted to faith, family, and service to others. An ordained minister, serving Jesus and helping people was not only his calling but the very foundation of his life. He was a true caretaker in every sense of the word, faithfully caring for his mentor and lovingly tending to both of his parents in their time of need. His compassion, steady presence, and servant's heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Sudie Mae Hinson Everett; his father, Johnny Ray Everett Sr.; and his brother, William Ray Everett.

He is survived by his brother, Johnny Ray Everett Jr.; his sister, Teresa Ann Henry; his nephew, Gordon Robert Henry and wife Erica Henry; his niece, Jessica Mae Henry; and extended family members Allen Miller and John Beach. He also leaves behind many friends, fellow believers, and community members whose lives were touched by his ministry and kindness.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service. Burial of the urn will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, North Carolina.

Lee's life was a testament to humble service and unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, devotion, and care will continue in the hearts of those he served and cherished.
