Lee Wayne "Weasel" Goranson

Lee Wayne "Weasel" Goranson, age 67, of Gresham passed away on Monday March 31, 2025, at his home. Lee was born on February 14, 1958, in Minnesota to the late Burton and Garnet (Lorraine) Goranson. After high school, he worked at Volkmans Appliance in Minnesota as an appliance repairman. Lee was united in marriage to the love of his life Maragret Mitchell in Winona, MN in 2000. The couple spent a wonderful 23 years together before her passing in 2023. In Lee's free time, he enjoyed riding his bike, walking, and overall loved being out in nature. For many years he loved going out on long camping trips.. He was known for being a laid-back and calm man. Lee was a strong family figure but could make his opinion known when needed. Lee was a big Minnesota Vikings fan. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Lee is survived by his children, Ruth (Jason) Jackson, Misty Wilson-Goranson and Keith Speltz; grandchildren Damieon, Jazmine and Anthony; siblings, Sherly Webster, Leroy (Nancy) Goranson, Patti Goranson, Raymond (Cheryl) Goranson, Yolie (Russ) Donley, Linda Goranson, Debbie (Ken Dubreil) Carrier, Sheila (Dennis) Albers, Zola (Rod) Harvey and Dale (Mary) Goranson; sister-in-law Nan Goranson. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Maragret; parents, Burton and Garnet; siblings, Burton and Zelda; and brother-in-law, Scott.
Family will not be having services at this time.
