Gordon Goranson Obituary

Died: October 21, 2025
With love and sadness, the family of Gordon D. Goranson announces his peaceful passing at age 80. A Chicago native, Army Captain, and Purple Heart recipient, Gordon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and mentor. He led with kindness, curiosity, and optimism-whether in business, community service, or family life. Gordon is survived by his wife Eva, children Thomas and Lisa (Colin) Gilbert, grandchildren, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held November 14, at Palm Court in Arlington Heights. Donations may be made to Friends of Fisher House at Hines VA Hospital.
