Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - CascoLee Hendricks, of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving family.
Lee was born on January 16, 1943, in Casco, Wisconsin, to the late Richard and Rose Hendricks. While attending kindergarten in Casco, he met his lifelong best friend and future wife, Karen. Lee was the first in his family to graduate from college, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He worked his entire career as a Certified Public Accountant in Rockford, Illinois. There, he and Karen raised their family and lived for over 50 years in the home they built together. He was a devout Catholic and long time parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church in Rockford. Lee was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and he enjoyed many good games of cribbage. He especially looked forward to snowmobiling trips and his annual golf trip with the guys in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Lee is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Karen (Brusda) Hendricks, and their four children: Terri (Craig) Opheim, Paul (Michelle) Hendricks, Amy (Steve) Murray, and Joe (Kelly) Hendricks. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Janet Velicer, and brother, Mark (Bev) Hendricks. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Rose Hendricks, older brother, Richard “Dickie” Hendricks, and Karen’s parents Edward and Helen Brusda.
A Funeral Mass for Lee will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 510 Church Avenue, Casco, Wisconsin with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating.
