Donna Rae Hendricks, 89, of Vincennes, Indiana went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2026. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on October 28, 1936, to the late John and Cleda Coonce. Donna married, the love of her life, George Hendricks on June 25, 1955. She worked in the kitchen at Crestview Nursing Home for 29 years. Donna was a member of Calvary Baptist Church until its closure. She continued her membership with First Baptist Church and was an avid attendee. Donna was also a member of the Red Hats Society and a member of a Christian motorcycle group with George for 15 years.
In Donna's free time she enjoyed cooking, vegetable gardening, canning, playing Euchre, having coffee with her girlfriends, and Friday night dinner and cards with her husband George and in laws Gerald and Ruthie Hendricks. Donna will be deeply missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Cleda Coonce; husband George Hendricks; son Jeffrey Hendricks; siblings Sue Hedges, Carl Coonce, Bill Coonce, Bonnie Williams; and sister-in-law Ruthie Hendricks.
Donna is survived by her daughters Karen (Jerry) Ramsey and Melissa (Justin) Smith; grandchildren Dustin (Becky Webb) Bonhomme, Leslie (Aaron) White, Jason Hendricks, Aaron (Stefanie) Hendricks, Stormy (Michael) Wiegman, Alec (Allie) Smith, Nolan Smith, Peyton Smith, Cody Ramsey, Shy (Brad) Fox; great-grandchildren Luke, Kendall, Ruby, Quinton, Carson, Chynna, Zaidyn, Lindsay, Ezekiel, Carson; daughter-in-law Valerie Hendricks; brother-in-law Gerald Hendricks; sister-in-law Betty Deathridge; and several extended family members.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Hendricks. Visitation will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at 524 Broadway Street from 11 to 2 pm. The Funeral Service will begin promptly at 2 pm with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery following immediately.
