Lee Jarboe

Jarboe, Lee of Flushing, age 94, died Monday, December 29, 2025, at his home. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home, followed by a scripture service at 7 p.m. Cremation will follow the visitation. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the North End Soup Kitchen or Catholic Charities.
Lee was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 15, 1931, the son of Claude Edward and Mary Ann (Hartl) Jarboe. Lee was a graduate of St. Michael Catholic High School where he lettered in football and baseball. He married Madonna Palacios on September 6, 1986. Lee worked for over 30 years with General Motors, retiring from the Parts Distribution Center. He was an avid sports fan, especially U of M. In his younger days, Lee enjoyed bowling. He also loved golfing and doing puzzles. Lee loved keeping an impeccable yard and tending to his flower garden of hybrid roses, dahlias and day lilies. He collected the North Pole Village Series and set up a beautiful display of his Christmas Village.
Lee is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Martin "Marty" (Annette) Jarboe; grandson, Michael (Crystal Jones) Jarboe; great-granddaughters, Hudsyn and Bostyn; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joan Wright.
