Lee Kneppel Obituary
Lee was a man whose deep love and loyalty left a lasting impact on everyone he knew. His life embodied his core values: family, strength, and a deep connection to the world. A lifelong learner passionate about psychology and philosophy, he often shared insights from thinkers like Nietzsche with his family, whether through meaningful conversations or quiet moments together.
Lee's love for the outdoors defined much of his life. He was happiest hiking, biking, or traveling, always eager to pass on his adventurous spirit and love for nature to his family.
Above all, Lee was a devoted family man. Happily married to Hadassah (Gelerman) for 40 years, they raised two daughters, Danielle and Alissa, in a home filled with love and joy. Whether it was movie nights, sharing stories on the couch, or exploring the outdoors together, Lee cherished every moment with his family. He took immense pride in his grandchildren, Jackson, Sloane, and Jones, seeing them as the beacons of his legacy. He is also survived by his sister Karen Glass and sons-in-law Josh Wachtler and Jerry Staub.
Services will be held at the Falmouth Jewish Congregation, 7 Hatchville Road, East Falmouth on Friday, August 30 at 2PM. Burial will follow at the Falmouth Jewish Cemetery.
Shiva will be held at the family residence, immediately following burial. Continuing Saturday, August 31 from 3-6PM, and then Sunday, September 1 through Tuesday, September 3 from 11AM-3PM.
