Lee Malone

Larry “Lee’’ Malone, Jr., 52, of Dyess, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, December 1, 2025. He was born on July 9, 1973 to Larry Lee Malone, Sr. and Brenda Sue Allen Malone in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Lee has been a pillar of the South Mississippi County community from the time he was a young man until the moment he was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. As a member of the Holthouse Farms family, Lee served as a farm manager for twenty-five years alongside many of his beloved friends. He took pride in his daily efforts and world endlessly to ensure the success and happiness of all of those who worked beside him. In addition to time spent on the farm, Lee was a Diamond lifetime sponsor, District 4 chairman and South Mississippi County Chapter chairman of the Ducks Unlimited organization. Since joining in 2012, Lee and his chapter helped raise over $710,000 for the preservation of duck wildlife and habitat. Lee was unwavering in his dedication to all areas of his life, including taking care of his beloved wife, Kristy, and all his children and grandchildren. Known to his grandchildren as Papaw Combine, Lee was always beheld with big smiles and hugs whenever he was in their presence. Times spent playing with Papaw Combine on the tractor or at the shop will always be cherished memories for us all. Lee grew up enjoying the thrill of driving racecars and spending countless hours building at the cabin at Malone Corner with his family. As an adult, Lee loved spending time in Mississippi at the cabin with his best friends, hunting and sitting by the fire, many laughs and stories shared. While his physical presence may be absent, Lee’s love and memories will continue to shine through us all, on the farm, at the banquets, in the shop, at the cabin; anywhere his love was so freely shared.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Larry and Brenda Malone, his grandparents: Bud and Maggie Malone and Carl and Sue Allen, sister: Lori Malone and his fur babies: Sadie and Nellie.

Lee is survived by his wife of seven years: Kristy Malone of the home, three sons: Dillon Malone (Haylana) of Carson Lake, Arkansas, Harley Grimes, III (Hannah Beth) of Blytheville, Arkansas and Riley Cain (Callie) of Blytheville, Arkansas, sister: Angie Cullom (Sumner) of Carson Lake, Arkansas, father-in-law: Marlin Pender of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, five grandchildren: Bud Grimes, Layken Malone, Gator Grimes, Parker Riley Cain and Ivie Lee Malone, nieces and nephews: Karlee Cullom, Wes Easley (Kristan), Jenna Cobb (Simon) and Jasey Easley, and his fur babies: Khloeigh, Charlee, Ellie and Bud.

Visitation will be held Monday December 8, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Arkansas.
