Lee Stark McDaniel affectionately known as "Mack" to family members and friends, was born November 11, 1945, in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Boyd and Ola Bell McDaniel.
He attended the Public Schools in Darlington, South Carolina.
In 1962 Mack gave up his southern roots and headed north to build a life in Paterson, New Jersey. He was a master fencer, and a traditional man's man. He was also trustworthy, dependable, caring, and committed to his family. He loved his wife Lottie dearly, and together they shared over five decades of love, friendship and marriage. 58 years to be exact.
Mack was not only a pillar of his family, but he was also the glue that kept his neighborhood together. He was a vivid fisherman. He served his church with pride.
On Saturday May 10, 2025, Lee S. McDaniel departed this life.
He was preceded in death by five siblings; Sally Mae McDaniel, Roosevelt Byrd, Joseph McDaniel, Curley McDaniel and Terry McDaniel.
Mack leaves to cherish his memories; wife; Lottie Coles-McDaniel, daughter; Lisa Coles-White, son in Law; Bryan White, two grandchildren; Ryan White and Ryhana White, five sister;, Virginia Holmes, Evelyn McDaniel, Odessa (Harry) Pauling, Ola Calderon, and Victoria (James) Beard, five brothers; Reverend Boyd McDaniels Jr. James (Sarah) McDaniel, Theodore McDaniel, Leon (Edell) McDaniel, and Robert McDaniel, 3 sisters in law; Julia McKenzie, Mattie Mathis and Mary Dixon, and one brother-in-law; Lewis (Mary) Cole, a devoted friend; Michael Henderson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, neighbors, and church friends. My deepest condolences to Lottie, his wife his friend and love.

To Lisa his daughter and her family my deepest Sympathy.
Lisa your father truly love you his first born and only child.
but I don't need to tell you how happy he was and loved you from the time you were born and he never stopped loving all of you. He took his love for you and the family with him. when he was asked about you and your children it brought a smile to his face.
Mack's (2) Grandchildren Were The Apple of His (EYE)
Rayan when you were born, it was as if your grandfather had another child. I don't have to tell you how much he loved you because, he showed you, his love with the time you two spent together and the special things you did together. continue to hold on to the precious memories of your grandfather knowing how much he loved you.

Rayana, When you were born you took Lisa's place you were his baby girl. He loved you soo much as you knew. You must also hold on to the special times you spent together with your grandad. RaRa- when you were (3) months old. I went by grandma and grandpa house Mack was holding you. I asked him if I could hold you, he said after she Purp. I waited for a half hour he was still holding onto to you. I said heisting. can I please hold her now, he looked at me and gave you to me. he gave me my (5) minutes and took you back. that's the kind of love unspeakable love your grandfather had for you and Rayan.
To his Sisters and Brothers My deepest Sympathy. I know Poor-boy was also your rock. I know all of you have a deep love for each other and its a great lost for all of you. May God Continue to Bless all of you with his love in you time of sorrow. Peace and Blessing from: E. Dukes-Lowe
