Lee Albert Pool, 86, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Salem.
He was born in Hobart, Oklahoma, on February 28, 1938, son of the late Ross and Ollie (Atwood) Pool. Lee was united in marriage to Linda Charline Hickman on May 16, 1982, in Escondido, California. During his working years, Lee worked in construction and sheet metal. Lee was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas. He liked horses and in his younger days was a cowboy. Lee was very creative and enjoyed building and inventing. He was quite a dancer and loved to dance when he was able. Lee spent many years as a volunteer with the Morriston Fire Department as a fireman and chief. He had a big heart and a love for his family. Lee was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Lee is survived by his wife, Linda Pool of Salem, Arkansas; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gordon Pool; daughter, Lorna Mack; granddaughter, Elizabeth Pool; sister, Lawanda Pool and brother Ray Pool.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 22, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM with Bro. Joshua Pardue officiating at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until service time.
