Lee Allen Preuss, Sr., 84, of Needville, Texas passed away on September 23, 2025 in Houston. He was born on September 29, 1940 at home in Needville to Melvin C. Preuss Sr. and Edna (Kramer) Preuss. Lee honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. Lee was a carpenter by trade, learning valuable skills from his own father over the years. Some of his hobbies included racing cars, watching Nascar and cheering on his beloved Houston Astros. This loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will truly be missed. In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Lee Preuss; and his siblings, Melvin C. Preuss, Jr. (Sonny), Jeanette Argo, Milton Preuss and Shirley Preuss. Survivors include his son, Lee A. Preuss, Jr.; grandson, Cameron Preuss-Nielsen; his step-daughter, Colette Lisa Bleasdale and her husband Bill; siblings, Betty Jean Eason, Larry Preuss and Vickie, Dollie Gibson, Marvin Preuss and his wife, Debbie, David Preuss and his wife, Doris, Kenneth Preuss and Becky, Sandy Corkern and her husband, Mark, Jerry Preuss and Linda McGinn and her husband, Frank; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. A service celebrating Lee's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 6, 2025 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Lee will be interred at Houston National Cemetery at a later time. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the charity of your choice or any Organization benefiting our Veterans. Expressions of remembrance and condolences are welcome and may be left for the family at www.davisgreenlawnfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F.
