Mr. Lee Franklin Pulliam, 89, passed away at Summer Willow Personal Care Home in Nunez, GA on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Lee was born in Martin, GA, in Stephens County in 1936 to the late Cecil and Mamie Pulliam. After high school he served his country in the United States Air Force for nearly four years. He then attended and graduated from college and then began seminary at Hardin–Simmons University in Abilene, TX. He began his long ministerial career thereafter and had pastored at many churches around Georgia for many years. He was lastly a devoted member of the Twin City Methodist Church.
In his free time he enjoyed going hunting or fishing, tending to his garden, or watching birds at his feeders, he enjoyed nature in any form.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Geraldine Lawhon and Christine Helmantoler.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Kyle (Debbie) Pulliam of Evans, GA, and Leisa (Joe) Ondrejik of Round Rock, TX, his grandchildren, Steven (Sarah) Pulliam of Pennsylvania, Kelly (Daniel) Garon of Atlanta, GA, Andrew Ondrejik, and Joey Ondrejik, both of Round Rock, TX, and a niece, Sheila Helmantoler of Greenville, SC.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Twin City Methodist Church at 11:00am with Rev. Randall Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan's Purse, at https://www.samaritanspurse.org/
