Lee Ragar Obituary
Lee Roy Ragar, 90, of Sedalia, died Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Primrose Assisted Living in Sedalia.
Born September 21, 1935 in Sedalia, he was the son of the late Roy W. and Amelia Shaw Ragar. On May 13, 1956 in Green Ridge, he married Ruth Allene Bruns, and she survives of the home.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Lyle Ragar of Sedalia, and Tina Lee Okerbloom (Ragar) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and five great-grandchildren, Maeve, Koa, Kade, Adrian, and Owen. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Michael Ragar and Marion Leroy Ragar; three brothers; and two sisters.
Mr. Ragar was a member of the Green Ridge Presbyterian Church. He retired as a mechanic with UPS. He was very active in tractor pulls, winning numerous trophies.
No formal services will be held. Inurnment will be in the Hickory Point Cemetery in Green Ridge at a later date. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
