Lee Roy Traylor , of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on Tuesday, May 24, 1938, in Harrisville, Mississippi.
Lee worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier, he also did concrete work, which is the work he loved.
Lee is survived by the love of his life, Nan Traylor, daughter & son-in-law, Marie and Pnut Kreutzer, son & daughter-in-law, Robert and Patsy Traylor, son & daughter-in-law, James "Spot" Traylor and Melissa Waddell , son & daughter-in-law, Otis and Robin Traylor; siblings, Jeanette West, Navarre Traylor, Johnny Traylor, Jack Traylor, Sharon Posey, and Paul Traylor; grandchildren, Clint Williams (Buffy), John Traylor (Brittany), Justin Traylor (Ashley), Amanda Monistere (Jacob), Trevor Bergeron (Cara), Jessica Bowlin, Lindsey Traylor, Hunter Smith (Jacob), Brady Waddell, Hallie Waddell, Jason Chatellier (Angel), Lacee Locicero (Tommy), Meagan Kemper (Stephen), Chris Williams, Daniel Traylor and Courtney Traylor; great-grandchildren, Kloe, Shelbi, Jaiden, Brock, Brayson, Mia, Aiden, Brynlie, Asher, Allie, Sawyer, Layla, Addison, Madilyn, Kade, Asher, Ava, Gabby, CJ, Ethan and Hannah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher L. Traylor and Margie L. Whatley Traylor, siblings, Glynn Traylor, Ruby Jean Vining, Jimmy Traylor, Aaron Traylor, Ray Traylor, Leonard Traylor, Gene Traylor, and Doris Payne; grandson, Kelly Martin Traylor.
Family and friends will be received at Trinity Baptist Church, 42062 Pumpkin Center Rd., Pumpkin Center, Louisiana 70403 on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held in the church sanctuary on Saturday at 1:00 p.m..
