Lee Russie White, 55, affectionately known as "Russell," was born on October 10, 1969, in Bruce, Calhoun County, Mississippi. Russell’s life was marked by hard work and dedication, particularly in his career as a truck driver. He became known for his reliability and commitment to his work, traveling countless miles and forging connections along the way.
On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Russell passed away at the Edward and Marion Knight Hospice Center of NW Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. He leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will be cherished by many.
Russell is survived by his father, J.B. White, Jr.; his son, Daniel White; and his daughter, India White. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Myrtice) White, and sisters, Teresa Thornton and Gloria White. These family members will remember him fondly for his unwavering support and dedication to their well-being.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Bennie Faye Thompson.
A visitation to honor Russell’s life will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home located in Bruce, Mississippi. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at New Hope Church of God in Christ on Saturday, June 14, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM.
Russell's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His contributions to his family and community have left an indelible mark that will not be forgotten.
