Leeland was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Peterson and twin brother, Lance Stroter.
He is survived by his daughter, amber Stroter; two grandsons, Bryar and Colton Gates; his second mother, Carol Olson along with many friends.
Leeland enjoyed golf and his years with the PGA in The Woodlands, Texas. He owned his own painting company for about 30 years.
He will be greatly missed.
His care has been entrusted to Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081.
