Leigh J. Shannon
Leigh Joyner Shannon, 44, wife of Richard Shannon, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Born August 3, 1980 in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of Bobby Joyner of Greenville and the late Donna Mahaffey. She was a manager for Red Lobster in Spartanburg.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father is her daughter, Gabrielle Elizabeth Shannon; brother Jamie Ramsey; sister Brittany Joyner; grandmother, Cadie Joyner; aunts, Cadie Bagwell and Maria Thompson.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the mortuary.
Family members are at their respective homes.
