Leisa Parris, 61, passed away at Sena Kean Manor in Smethport, PA, on June 14, 2025.

Leisa was born on November 12, 1963, to Rita (Lockwood) and Allen Kanouff. She graduated with the Class of 1981 from Otto-Eldred Jr-Sr High School and devoted her life to caring for others.

Leisa lived with a passionate spirit and found joy in nature, animals, road trips, and-above all-her grandchildren. She had an adventurous heart, loved camping, and always looked forward to traveling with loved ones, especially when it involved good music, good food, and good times. A loyal football fan, she cheered for the Denver Broncos after finally letting go of her Raiders loyalty.

Some of her fondest memories included family trips to Cape Cod-where she especially loved whale watching and seeing pods of dolphins-and visiting aquariums with those she cherished most.

Leisa's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. She is survived by her children, Joshua Yeaples and Elizabeth Collins; her grandchildren, Allison Yeaples, Aubrey Collins, and Ethan Collins; her sisters Deniece Kanouff, Michelle Kanouff, and Jennifer Kanouff; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rita and Allen Kanouff; her husband, George Parris Jr.; her sister, Tina (Kanouff) Hamilton; both sets of grandparents; and many other treasured family members.

There will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, just as Leisa would have wanted-a time for us to reflect, remember, and honor her in all the ways she loved.
