Leisa Ulasz, 76, of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Ulasz was born on December 8, 1949, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy Jane (Ewing) Price. She was a 1967 graduate of Farrell High School and earned an associate degree from Edinboro University.

A kind soul, Leisa dedicated her life to helping others. She worked for many years as a program director for the Girl Scouts Council in Edinboro and a private care home health worker. She was currently the enrichment coordinator at Whispering Oaks, Hermitage.

Her husband, Walter E. Ulasz, whom she married on November 14, 1970, passed away on March 2, 2011. Together they bowled in leagues and loved to play cards, especially Euchre.

Leisa had an amazing sense of humor. Her quick wit was sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. She was a devoted mother who looked forward to family game nights and preparing delicious holiday meals. Leisa was also a woman of strong faith and loved to watch Hallmark movies.

She is survived by four daughters, Stephanie Worona (Chris), of Hermitage, Jeanne Ulasz, of Sharon, Elizabeth Ulasz (Daniel), of Masury, OH, and Suzy Ulasz, of Wheatland; her granddaughter and apple of her eye, Katelynn Worona; and a special friend, Larry Richey. Also surviving is a sister, Ella Johnson (Jim), of Farrell; a brother, Raymond Price (Lori), of Brookfield, OH; and a brother-in-law, David Ulasz (Fay), of Hermitage.

In addition to her parents and husband, Leisa was preceded in death by a brother, William Price.
