Lela Jane Davis (nee Reynolds) 88 of West Chester, Ohio.
Beloved wife of Earl Davis for 70 years. Devoted Mother of Sandra (Tim) Taylor,
Jack (Patricia) Davis, Brenda (late Larry) McGuffey. Dear Grandmother of Stephanie Hoosier, David McGuffey, Sherri Davis, Daniel McGuffey, Debra Smith, Scott Taylor and John Davis. Great-grandmother of 11. She was born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky. Preceeded in death by her parents, General & Lula Reynolds. Sisters Eunice Brooks, Ruby Taylor and Betty Edwards and brothers Leon and NT Reynolds. She passed away peacefully shortly before midnight on New Year's Eve with family by her side. It seemed her going home was celebrated with fireworks minutes after as the new year began.
She was "The Best Mamaw
Ever". A shining example for her family to observe and strive to follow her role model. Proverbs 31:10-31
Her sweetness and pure spirit always so visible to all.
We will miss her terribly but rejoice that she is home now with those she longed to see.
Visitation will be at Hodapp Funeral Home in West Chester Township, Ohio.
Friday, January 5, 2024, 11:00 - 1:00 with services to follow. Burial will be at West Chester Cemetery.
