A funeral celebration for Mrs. Lela Mae Dunn, 94 of Winnsboro, LA will be held 10 AM Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Wayside Pentecostal Church with Rev. Nathaniel Cotten and Rev. Tommy Cotten officiating, interment to follow in Harris Cemetery, visitation will be 5-8 PM Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Wayside Pentecostal Church all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA

Mrs. Lela a member of Wayside Pentecostal Church, loved her God, church family and her precious family. She was a hard worker; everyone knows she didn't have a lazy bone in her. She was born June 27, 1931, in Wisner, LA to the late R.C. Perry and the late Mary Juneau Perry and went to be with her Lord on October 16, 2025, in Winnsboro, LA.

Those that went before her and were there to greet her crossing the Jordan were her parents, her first husband Jesse Mason and her second husband Rev. Hardy Dunn, sons, Lavernice "Bernie" Dunn and his wife JoAnn, James Dunn, and Buster Mason, Daughter LaBriska Lowery, son-in-law Alex Cotten, grandsons Little Johnny Coates, and Quincy Mason; great granddaughters Raylee Vittetoe and Blakelynn Godeaux, two sisters Olivia Erwin, and Geneva Ellerbe, brother J.C. Perry, nephew, Mann Ellerbe.

Mrs. Lela is survived by her children, Richie Dunn and wife Anita, Kathy Bennett and husband Claude, Christy Baum and husband Marvin, all of Winnsboro, LA, Peanut Mason and wife Barbara of Sicily Island, LA, Cookie Harrison and husband Freddie Harrison of Krotz Springs, LA, Christine Cotten of Neosho, MO, Sue Hurst and husband Joe of Tyler, TX, Keith Dunn and Dianna, of Sand Springs, OK; sister Daisy Mason and Mamie Ratcliff both of Sicily Island, LA, forty one grandchildren and eighty two great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Josh Dunn, Adam Dunn, Tracy Cotten, , Doc Cotten, Monty Cotten, and Dustin Camp.

Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Vittetoe, Steven Dunn, Claude Bennett, Colton Camp, Mark McMurray, Joseph Harrison.
