Leland Benjamin Oliveaux

Graveside services for Leland Benjamin Oliveaux will be held at 11:00 AM. Monday, October 24, 2022, at Burroughs Garden of Memories Cemetery, with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow under direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until time of service. Leland Benjamin Oliveaux was born in Columbia, LA on September 2, 1963 to the union of his parents, Jerry Clayton Oliveaux and Shirley Ann Hines Oliveaux, and passed from this life on October 20, 2022 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria LA. Leland was a simple man, he loved his family and worked hard all his life. Leland worked various jobs but the logging woods is where he was meant to be. Leland had a great sense of humor and enjoyed cracking jokes to make people laugh. Just like any other country boy, he loved hunting, fishing, and raising a garden. Leland was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his nephew, Jeremy Dulaney. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; his son Cory Oliveaux (Chelsey); daughters, Candance Oliveaux, Kacie Oliveaux, and Amanda Oliveaux; grandchildren, Journi Morgan, Bernard Morgan Jr., Terrance Morgan, Hannah Hall, Savanna Hall, Patrick Oliveaux, and Devin Oliveaux; three brothers, Malcolm Oliveaux (Debra), George Oliveaux, Phillip Oliveaux; and one sister, Cindy Oliveaux May (Ronnie).
Pallbearers include Cory Oliveaux, Malcolm Oliveaux, George Oliveaux, Phillip Oliveaux, and Patrick Oliveaux.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Riser Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
