November 1 1945 – November 9 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lenard on Nov 9th, 2024. Born on Nov 1st, 1945, in San Rafael, California, Lenard lived a life filled with love, dedication, and purpose.
Lenard was a loving father to his Sons Michael Smith and Charles Smith. He was known for his Love of Hunting, Fishing, the mountains, wildlife, College football and motorcycles. Lenard was also known for his kindness, his wisdom, and his unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Lenard will be watching over his loving children, Michael (Kimberly Smith) and Charley, their mother/ex-wife Lois Smith, Five Grand Children Nathaniel, Kaleb, Annabelle, Addison, Charles and Great Grandson CJ. Lenard is also survived by his brother John Ansbro and sisters Sheryl Garneau and Dallas Bock as well as countless friends who he loved dearly. Lenard is predeceased by his father Clifford Smith, mother Ethel “Pauline” Watkins and brother Gary Smith. Lenard will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to honor Lenard's life will be held on December 13th, 2024, at 1pm. Brown's Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel 904 North 7th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501
