Lenna Gilbert

1945 - 2025

Lenna Elizabeth Gilbert, 80, of Manistee, Michigan died peacefully on December 30, 2025. She was born January 9, 1945, to Jack Lewis and Patricia Wyka (Fellows) in Jackson, Michigan, and married Clyde Leroy Gilbert on April 1, 1995. She worked 34 happy years at the House of Flavors in Manistee making many acquaintances, friends, and family bonds. She was a member of Beacon Ministries of Scottville and loved to worship. She was a resident of Manistee Medical Care in the final years of her life, blessing those around her with her smile and humor. Lenna was dearly loved by many people throughout the Manistee area. She is survived by sons Vance Stringham and Jason (Gretchen) Stringham, stepson Scott (Sonia) Gilbert, grandchildren Samantha "Wrenn" (James) Willard, Tabatha (Matthew) Ruehle, Annah Stringham, Tjaden Stringham, Marcella "Boe" Stringham, Nicole Gilbert, Nathan (Julie) Gilbert, Bryan Green, as well as great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Gracie. She is preceded in death by parents Jack Lewis and Patrica Wyka, sisters LyraLee Callendar and Laura "Lynette" Connell, husband Clyde Gilbert, and stepdaughter Connie Gilbert. A celebration of Lenna's life will be celebrated April 25, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Beacon Ministries in Scottville.
