Susanne Anne Gilbert

Susanne Anne Gilbert passed away on December 29, 2025 at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, Washington. She was 56 years old.

Susanne was born on September 3, 1969 in Erlangen, Germany. She moved to the United States in her youth and graduated from Alamogordo Senior High School on December 18, 1987 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She worked as a store clerk and cashier for a handful of different businesses in her youth.

For over 25 years, she made Washington state her home. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, watching her favorite television programs, and drinking her favorite coffee: a white chocolate iced mocha.

She will be remembered as a beloved mother, sister, and daughter. She is survived by her son, Marquette; daughter, Monique; sisters, Bonnie and Angie; as well as her father, Calvin. She is preceded in death by her mother, Regina.

Susie was a kind soul with a silly sense of humor, an infectious enthusiasm for life, and a heart of gold. The loss of her beautiful soul will be felt by all that were fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Rest in peace, dear Susie. You taught us not to take ourselves too seriously, to enjoy the little things, and that family is your base - the one that you are born into, the one that you make, and the one that you choose. Walk free in heaven alongside Opa, Mama, Dustin, and all of the souls we have lost. Eat all the fried chicken, smoke all the cigarettes, and know that we will meet again in heaven someday. Until then, we will keep your memory alive in our hearts, our beautiful Guardian Angel.
