It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lenora Ann Coppiellie. Lenora passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the age of 87. Lenora was born on September 30, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse. Her gentle and caring nature touched the lives of countless individuals and families throughout her distinguished career. Lenora was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Coppiellie and a devoted mother to her cherished children: Cathy (Karl) Kevra, Raymond (Holly), Robert (Tammy), John "Jack", James (Maureen), and Suzanne (James) Parski. Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as a loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 21 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Lenora was preceded in death by her loving parents, Peter Brengman and Augusta (Desmet) Brengman, her dear husband Raymond Coppiellie, and her siblings Al (Estelle) Brengman, Dorothy (John) Berger, and Virginia (Marvin) Kliman. She is lovingly remembered by her sister: Sharon (the late David) Kopitzke, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will gather for a memorial mass to celebrate Lenora's life on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, located at 95 Market St., Mt. Clemens, MI. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share in the loving memories of Lenora. To honor the life and legacy of Lenora, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Henry Ford Hospice and/or The Fr. Solanus Center. Lenora's kindness, warmth, and generosity of spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
