So sorry for your loss. I met Bernie when he came to bring holy communion to my Mom, Henrietta, who lived in the same condo complex. I also belong to St. Mary church and always enjoyed his kind exchange of seeing each other over the years. He was so involved with the church and helped with so many things over the years. After the COVID crisis and so much changed in our church, I felt bad for him unable to do the many services he helped during mass. I missed seeing him the last month or so in church; for he always sat in the same spot! No worries Bernie the seat may be vacant, but I will still turn and look for you in spirit!
