Lenora Ellen Duncan, age 87, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was born on June 11, 1938.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, James “Charlie” Duncan, and her ten siblings.
She is survived by her son, Eason Duncan, and his wife, Julie, and her three grandchildren, Julian, Courtney, and Samuel.
Ellen was known for her strength, resilience, and deep roots in the Cleveland community. She worked for more than 40 years with BellSouth, later AT&T, and valued the many lifelong friendships she formed there. She was devoted to her Christian faith and to her family, and she took special pride in her grandchildren.
Ellen combined humor with a firm, determined spirit. Her strength of character and unmistakable personality shaped her long life and the memories she leaves behind.
Funeral services are being arranged and will be announced by Barrett Funeral Home.
