Lenore Catherine Greene

Lenore Catherine Greene came into the world on November 12, 1968 born in Yonkers, NY. She attended the Ursuline School, Iona College and Fordham University. She passed on August 19, 2024 after a long illness.
Dedicating her life to one of service Lenore spent many of her early years waitressing, working hard to save for what would be her first apartment and eventual home.
Creative, humorous, generous and passionate Lenore spent her life giving to her students as a teacher for more than 30 years for the Archdiocese of New York. She treasured her time spent at her house and considered her home and backyard her mini paradise. She also loved her cats very much.
Lenore is survived by her beloved husband Declan, her parents Mary Lou and Frank Coppola, her sisters Allison Uzar and Jennifer Piccione, her nieces Katie, Laura, Emily and Ava and nephews George and Tristan.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 4-8pm at Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main Street, Eastchester, NY. 10709. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30am at Immaculate Conception Church, 53 Winter Hill Rd, Tuckahoe, NY. Burial to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
