Leny Sobieski (nee: Rumay) passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 52. She is survived by her beloved fiancé Eric Lundeen of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; four daughters, Shella Sobieski of Caledonia, WI, Paula (Jordan) Holzman of New Berlin, WI, Valerie (Ryne) Lowe of New Berlin, WI, Mishell Sobieski of Troy, MO; son, Gilbert Sobieski of Milwaukee, WI; three, grandchildren, Penelope, Theodora, Haze; She is preceded in death by her father, Ludovico Rumay, mother, Avelina Rumay (nee: Dejerio).
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leny, a beloved fiancée, cherished Mom, devoted grandmother, and friend. Leny departed this life, leaving behind love, kindness, and unwavering faith as a devout Christian. Leny had a remarkable green thumb and found immense joy in nurturing her beautiful flowers and plants. Her passion for cooking filled her home with delight, as she lovingly prepared meals for her family and friends. Leny had a talent for decorating her home, creating warm and inviting spaces that reflected her vibrant spirit and high end decor. Affectionately known as Nama and Lola, she embraced her role as a grandmother with grace and warmth, providing unwavering support and affection to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
