Leo Rogers Cox, 92, of Pocahontas, departed this life on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Randolph County Nursing Home.
Leo was born in Greenbrier, Arkansas, on August 19, 1933, to the late Virgil Cox and Effie Honeycutt Cox. Leo was best known for his love of music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Effie Cox; his daughters, Rita Carol Lynch and Nita K. Burgess; his brother, Leon Cox; and his sisters, Merlyn Acey and Erleen Glisson.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Ean Burgess, Alex Lynch, and Christopher Lynch; great-grandchildren, Max, James, Leo, August, and Violet; and one brother, Levon (Donna) Cox. He also leaves behind a son-in-law, Bob Lynch, and many other family members and friends.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:00 pm at the Maynard Cemetery.
