Leo H. Denis Jr., of Levittown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2025, one month shy of his 71st birthday.

Born on July 19th, 1954, Leo was raised in Edgely and worked as a dedicated steelworker until an injury in the 1980s changed his path. A proud and passionate Philadelphia sports fan, he rarely missed a game and could often be found with a fresh cup of coffee in hand, watching the news or tuning into religious mass programs.

Leo was known for his wit, bold spirit, and a great sense of humor. His deep faith in Jesus Christ was a cornerstone of his life – he wore his rosaries daily and never hesitated to share his beliefs. One of his simple joys in life was long phone conversations with his son-in-law, a ritual that brought him happiness and connection.

He is survived by his loving daughter Aimee Breitkreutz (Timothy), his dear son William Denis (Meredith), and their mother, Patricia Denis, with whom he shared many years of family life. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Jordan, Skylar, Emma, Caitlyn, Abigail, Alexa, & Maddox. Leo leaves behind his siblings Joanne Steady (Richard), Michele Devine (Patrick), Alan Denis, and Joel Denis (Sherri), along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Leo H. Denis Sr. and Mary P. Denis (nee Penkunas), and his brother Paul Denis (Rita).

Leo will be remembered for his strong faith, his sharp humor, and the love he shared with his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In accordance with his family's wishes, a small private ceremony will be held to honor his life.
