Leo Scott Epting

Leo Scott Epting, age 15, of Tanglewood Way, Gray Court, SC, passed away, Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Born November 25, 2010 in Laurens, SC, he was the son of Jonathan Epting and Petra Cruz Constancio of Gray Court. Leo was a freshman at Laurens District High School. He was all boy and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and anything outdoors. Leo loved all “critters”, especially turtles, squirrels, chickens, and lizards. He was also involved in martial arts and was a first degree black belt. Leo excelled in everything he set his mind to. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.

Leo is survived by his brother, Jonathan Scott Epting, Jr.; sisters, Aaliyah Cruz, and Sitara Mae Epting; grandmothers, Vicenta Salazar, and Barbara Ann Epting; his uncles, Michael Cruz, David Cruz, Christian Cruz, Johnny Harper (Felicia), and Ben Calwile; his aunt, Jessica Cruz; great-uncle, Buck Miller; and his cousin, Amyliea Cruz.

Funeral Services will be held at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens Friday, March 13, 2026 at 10:30 AM, with Pastor Tony Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will greet visitors Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 5-7:30 PM at the funeral home.
