Leo S. Garcia of Clovis NM was called home on December 23, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born on October 11, 1956 to Marceleno and Mary Garcia.
Leo worked at a young age at the Clovis News Journal and received an award for his hard work and dedication. He then began working at Curry County Grain.
When he wasn't working he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, listening to music, watching wrestling and sports. He was a hardcore Lakers, Steelers and Dodgers fan.
Leo was a selfless man who helped anyone who asked. He loved his family very much especially his grandchildren.
Leo is preceded in death by his parents Marceleno and Mary Garcia; his son baby Garcia; daughter Leona Garcia; 5 brothers, Ernest, Butch, Pat Steve, Raymond and Joe Mike Garcia; 3 sisters, Marcy Jaramillo, Juanita Cordova and Gloria Garcia.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Garcia; One son Leo (Amy) Garcia; 3 daughters, Noelle Estrada (Jesse), Mercedes Garcia (Gerado Vasquez), Serena Garcia (Joaquin Williams) all of Clovis NM. 4 sisters, Molly Urioste of Portales NM, Judy and Darlene of Santa Rosa NM, Carolyn Camposargado of Clovis NM; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Pall Bearers are: Miguel Payen, Noah Garcia, Jesse Estrada, David Garrett, Joaguin Williams and Gerado Vasquez. Honorary Pallbearers are: Ernie Cardova, Joey Garcia, Jimmy Cardova, Joshua Maya, Michael Cardova, Forencio Urioste
