To my favorite Uncle, So sorry to hear of your passing. Always enjoyed talking with you and remembering all the get-togethers we had with family. You had the best sense of humor and the best stories! You will always remain in the hearts ❤ of all your nieces and nephews. I know in my heart you and your sister(Cecilia Hock) are enjoying heaven with all your other siblings. May you rest in peace and love.

Uncle Leo,
You certainly lived a full and wonderful life with outstanding service to your community and love and devotion to those you held close and called family.
In my eyes, you were always larger than life! Your quick wit, amazing speaking voice, and charming and warm personality made you a very special person. You had a positive impact on everyone you met.
You were very much a part of my life growing up and I know you had the same impact on my siblings, Fred, Nancy, Dotty, and Patrick Haley, as well as our cousins from the Painter, Hock, and Bachman families.
My memories include chicken pot pie and spaghetti and meat ball suppers at Pop-Pop Haleys where we waited for you to come home from work and listened to Irish folk music coming from your room at the top of the stairs at 300 North 12th while you changed for dinner. I remember gathering as a family to watch your home movies from your trips to Ireland and waiting patiently for you to arrive at our house as Santa Clause to surprise my brother Patrick when he was little. You wore the red and white mittens my mom knitted for you! You organized Irish Day at Lakewood Park and we enjoyed those events as a family. You chauffeured my sister Nancy and her husband Fred Schultz in your Cadillac on their wedding day. When my dad passed away, you drove to Philadelphia to pick me up at St. Charles Seminary to bring me home. You and Lorraine hosted regular gatherings at the AOH headquarters on Centre Street that were always fun. You were both present for all of the major life events in our family.
I could go on and on with the memories. Despite the passing of time and the distance that may have separated us as our lives moved on and our families grew, you remained a stabilizing force and presence to all of us.
Thank you, Uncle Leo. You will be missed. Your kind and generous spirit will live on in the minds and hearts of all who loved you.
Rest in Peace.

Uncle Leo,
You had 9 nephews and 6 nieces. I am so proud to be one of those nieces! The memories I have of all the family picnics and family gatherings came flooding back when I heard of your passing. I'm sad, but my memories are a gift to make me smile whenever I think of you! Love....

Uncle Leo,
I was so sad to hear of your passing. I have so many fun memories attending family gatherings at the AOH hosted by you and Lorraine. One of my favorite memories is the year there was a contest for the largest Irish family and the Haley family marched in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Pottsville. Every St. Patrick's Day I will always think of you!
Your smiling face will always be remembered by your nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews of your late siblings Mary Painter, Dolores Bachman, Cecelia Hoak, and Thomas Haley, my grandfather.
Love your Great Niece,
Kerri Schultz
